The National Conference for College Women Student Leaders (NCCWSL) is an annual leadership conference for college students held each spring at the University of Maryland–College Park. This conference offers young women leaders a chance to learn new skills and to broaden their networks with peers from around the country.
IN 2022, the Conference is virtual and will be held May 24-26th.
AAUW-San Juan sponsors women who are third year students (or above) enrolled in a college or university in Puerto Rico to attend the conference, paying their registration. Applicants must have demonstrated a desire to help their community, be fluent in English (as the conference is held in English), be willing to participate fully in the conference, as well as report back to the AAUW San Juan Branch about the experience.
The application process starts in January, with a deadline of April 15th. Applicants must apply online and submit a CV. There may also be personal interviews for finalists.
