Last year
On April 21st, 2012 we conducted the second BRIDGE workshop for the STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) at the San Marcos Lutheran Church facilities in Guaynabo. The workshop, conducted in Spanish hosted a small group of interested girls.

On May 5th, we held the first workshop on careers in the humanities. About 20 girls, and 10 adults met at the YWCA in Miramar. The girls even got to try a printing project, designed by Ann Nicholson.
Thanks for this workshop go out to Juanita Morris, Joanne Triestman, Lillian Rico, Joan McMurray, Kathy Perez, Mary Anne Maldonado and Patricia Schaefer.
At both workshops the girls had an opportunity to talk to women working in these career areas and to explore the needed academic preparation for the jobs they aspire to.
